I really dont know too much about transmissions, but i just got overdrive clutch assembly replaced on my car for $$$$, i really dont wanna have to deal with the tranny again, so i was wondering what mods can i do to my automatic to improve its life, and improve the shifting on the car?
Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear you paid $$$$ for and OD clutch.
They typically go for about $75 and can be installed in just a few minutes.

You should consider joining the yahoo A/T DSM group. A lot of good information gets passed in this group.

As far as mods, get the Translab TL-175 shift kit. The kit is $75, and
will improve performance and help keep ypur tranny alive a little longer.

Alto also markets an improved OD clutch and rebuild kit.
YOu may want to consider these parts for your next rebuild.

I am a newbie and I need technical layed out before me help..........
Please bare with me.

I want to create a kicka$$ N/A 92 Automatic tranny.
Please tell me the method to do so layed out in dummy terms.
I will get all the parts that you tell me to and then give them to the transmission rebuilders to create this Frankenstein.....if possible.

I want to pioneer for the N/A auto guys. Use me as the prototype.

Lay it out for me 1 (do this), 2 (do this). If you don't mind please include urls and website information along with costs. I appreciate all the help in this.

I want to create the best N/A auto that is possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG

I've been trying to call them for 2 weeks for their shift kit and I e-mailed them twice with no responce. They have a message that they are moving and would be taking orders again on the 1st of this month, I guess they are so good they don't need money anymore. I also got a tranny upgrade kit from www.levelten.com. You might want to check them out.

There are many trans shops around, but what you need is a competent shop that is well versed in a performance rebuild(very rare). It's not a question of giving someone parts and telling them to put them in.If there is not a shop around you- search the internet, talk to a few shops and you will soon find one that you will have confidence in.
