San Diego,
:D The Bomex kit looks incredible...

It's out of the ordinary and is not your everyday Eclipse look. The lines are subtle but give a very aggressive look. I'm sold! Anyone know where to find the kit for cheaper that the $1300 price tag I saw?

the spoiler also adds to the look and those kinda are not cheep either, it is a real japanese kit though, so one sould expect it to be of better quality interms of "aero dynamics"

i still have yet to see a bomex kit with 97-99 headlights :/ maybe i havent looked hard enough

i like the bomex the best out of the 2nd gen kits, but it would be hard for me to spend that kind of cash on cosmetics.....the 2nd gen looks so good already, spend the cash on a real nice set of wheels, RMMDSM front spoiler, and maybe (no one flame me for this one please), the Kamanari wing made for our cars...(i have always liked the way it flows w/ the car.)

Yeah thats the thing i dont like, it comes off the front really really far.
ImportFan.com sells them pretty cheap i beleive straight from BOMEX.

If someone does want to buy a kit i would highly recommend this over the infamous BLITZ kit.
I am so sick of seeing the blitz kits.

Also bomex makes another design but it has a really wide front opening. I dont think it would look as good as the one above on a turbo car with a front mount.

bleh, that thing is ugly!

Again people that dont know anythign about industrial design are trying to make a kit. The front bumper is nasty, the main line (with flat top surface...on a car thats all organic shapes :barf: ) continus to no where, it just disappears after the wheel well. Sme for the top line of the sideskirt, i just sorta appears on top of there. All the side intakes are composed of straight, geometric lines, wheres the rest of the car is organic and curvey

I cant believe people are considering to pay 1g+ for this crap...

:shhh:

This is a genuine kit from Japan. I'm Korean, but have been to Japan many times. The cars there are incredible. I still think the bomex kit looks great, but can still be improved on. I'm not saying that it's the absolute epitome of kits, but it's pretty nice. Oh and another thing, I think Bomex has some credibility when it comes to designing their kits. They're obviously along the ranks of C-west, Veilside, and other great companies. Just because people can't obtain these kits is no reason for them to bash on the companies! I bet if a car enthusiastic Japanese person came here ( to the states), he'd be very disappointed. Because when I went to Japan- they're ahead of the states for sure.

iwoosun83 I have heard this a lot as well. I like bodykits because they make a car really unique especially if you live in a region of the U.S.A. where there are not a lot of body kits. In any case I have heard what you are saying before about the U.S. being behind in body kit quality and design aesthetics. :dsm:

Basically, im just so X&#(!* sick of seeing the blitz kit. I hate the blitz kit, its the ugliest thing ever invented. Some people may think different but i really just cant stand it. If i had my way, all blitz kits would be rounded up, put in a huge pile, and then burned.

Kinda off topic there but still, the point is....
Why buy this or any other body kit for that matter.
There is a whole world of Performance Upgrades out there that money would better be spent on.

Also what in the name of god is on the side of that eclipse in the picture??

ick, dont liek front. its so long that you could ahve a picnic on it

If you get a knock off, prepare for it to snap, crackle, pop, and not fit at all. Bomex may = Money Up front, but their fiberglass quality and fit quality is second to none. Ever hear of those "fitment fees" that a body shop has to do to get the kit to fit? Bomex doesn't need those.

I've got the other Bomex kit lined up for my car (The one without the fog lights) this coming spring, to replace my split 97 front end and cracked side skirt. I can fix fiberglass a lot better than I can factory plastic any day of the week.

Oh yeah, and here's a quicky photoshop pic I made up on my laptop (Pardon the roughness, Touchpads suck for editing) on how the other kind could look without the wing/stickers.

The front I was trying to see if I could make something like the 97-99 lights, but it doesn't really work...

yeah, im gettign that original one... i agree the blitz is overdone, and i want a unique look that has some credbility plus i think companise like bomex and c-west desine thier kits for both looks and the aerodynamics they provide... i know i will be flamed but i would also add the abflug streamline gt spoiler to give the car real downforce at high speeds. im a little peved they dont make carbon difusers or canards for this specific car.

Importfan.com sells universal canards that will fit the 2G perfectly. There's a guy near me who just put them on. Great look. He has the Blitz front though.
I just got my Bomex rear in and it has to be the highest quality piece I've seen. Predrilled and perfect fit.
