Okay so i have ran into a problem with my tubular stainless steel o2 housing. I went to mock up the turbo and mani in the (thank god) and the o2 sensor hits the water pump pipe!! So I tried denting my wanted pump pipe  and still didn't fit... So i bent the o2 sensor (not good, I know) and still didn't help clearance :ohdamn:

This is my last hurdle before i can start my car!!!!

Can I grind the o2 bung down 1/8" to let things clear since Ive already dented my W/P pipe?

Any suggestions??

Yeah dude stop beating on your car and do it right LOL. pull the o2 sensor and have a new bung welded. You dont need to seal the previous bung, just put a cap in it and youre golden. Also might want to look into a new water pipe and o2 sensor in the future :p

Good luck

LOL I have a brand new w/p pipe and o2 sensor, so i wasn't worried.

Dammit you guys are putting me in a hard spot. I really don't want to change up what i have but I will if that's my only option

Don't knock me for this but It's an eBay tubular manifold and have had it since day one. I have weld in o2 bungs but I'm trying to stay away from that :hmm:

The ebay housings are not bad at all. I've been running one for a while now with no issues and have an extra one sitting right here. I can clearly see that your bung is angled differently. Check it out:

It won't hurt anything since I dented the w/p pipe will it? I didn't want to do it but I thought that it would help it clear :ohdamn:

I will order a couple bungs from STM and get one put in :/

This sucks, I was hoping to have the car done before my college graduation in a week and a half :notgood:

The dent itself won't hurt anything. But if you dented the pipe while it was installed, there's a possibility of one or both O-rings leaking.

Sell the ebay crappy one you have and buy a new one even if it
s ebay if you must with correct o2 postion.
