Negative. A true MHI E3 will have a stamp on it with only the identification number on it Like the picture. It should also say TDO5H on the comp housing.

no..i didnt buy it, but i was going to.
oh well....i guess now i have to buy a evoIII.
 
Im not sure who makes it,but that is exactly what the ssautocrome 16gs look like.I had a buddy who bought a turbo from them about 6 months ago,and the compressor blades hit the housing after about 1k miles.:notgood:

Sorry, didnt mean to say it was a GT.

But it is the cheaper Evo III turbo. Still junk in my book.

This is the Knock off MHI Evo III Turbo version that's mistakenly thought of as the Evo 3 GT turbo(ssautochrome version). That's unreliable and gives Evo III GT turbo a bad rep.

1. MHI Evo III Turbo - Original
2. Evo 3 GT Turbo - Reverse Engineering Version (Just as good or better)
