Hey guys... we just finished putting a turbo kit on a 420a here at the shop, and just wanted to share some pics. I will get some updated pics later this afternoon of the completed kit.

The turbo kit fit pretty well, but we did need to trim a bit of the exhaust manifold, and tweek some other things here and there, but overall it fit well. It's a T25 turbo. If you guys have any questions, please ask!

Enjoy!

Maybe it's just the way the picture was take but the IC pipe on the drivers side looks very low. Are you sure it's not going to scrape or get snagged when going over speed bumps or any bumpy roads.

Thats awesome, are the fitment issues your having because its internally gated and the wastegate is in the way? Or is it just the manifold?

Also those zipties in the first picture scared me a lil, but I see you got that taken care of (j/k).

Looks awesome, put that bad boy on the dyno and lets see what its got with that T-25, also what kind of fuel system does it got going on?

heh, my I/C pipes hung lower than that in my Neon and still didnt scrape over speedbumps or even those parking curbs I guess you would call them....thats one huge I/C for a T25, twice the size of the one I have for my 20G in fact(again though space in the Neon is pretty limited, its a 1st gen), its looking very good though, stock internals? how much PSI?

It looks good. I can't wait to go turbo.

Indeed lets see the numbers and the fuel system setup

looking good, im liking the triple oil lines, altho the motor could use a bath.... :)

umm, yeah...

...the T25 is an oil and water cooled turbo

oh i'm sorry, I didn't know that was directed towards you :nono:

I was simply stating that all those lines aren't for oil, but we all know that you like to leave pointless bashing posts without caring all the time...so let's see if you realize it and become nice again before you get banned ;)

EDIT: who is caption obvious :p

Wow thats awesome!
I really can't wait for this winter when my car goes turbo.
Looks like a great setup. If thats a kit who sells it?
right now i'm trying to decide if i should try to turbo charge my 420A motor or get a motor from a junk yard out of a GST thats already turbo and put a better turbo on it because i know the two motors are very different.

Now i just need a rob a bank to get it all done. :D

We've modified the pipe, to bring it up a little higher. We were concerned with it being that low as well.

Nah, the fitment issues were due to a poorly cast manifold, and it would hit the left bracket next to the head. Also, the downpipe had to be cut and rewelded, as it was about 1.5" too long.

Yeah, we ziptied it to get a good feel for where we wanted to mount the intercooler ;)

We'd love to dyno it, but it is of course up to the owner. :thumb:
