So, tired of burned out bulbs and finding the sylvania replacement lighting guide only partially correct (and woefully under detailed for the interior lights) I've finallly found all the correct bulb #'s for the 2g.

hvac unit light = #74 type bulb
ignition ring light = #74 type bulb
cigarette lighter ring light = #74 type bulb
ashtray light = #74 type bulb
map lights = #4410 type bulb
hatch light = #3022 type bulb
floor board/kick panel lights = #194 type bulb

If you are doing a total lighting replacement this means:
4 X #74
2 X #4410
2 X #194
1 X #3022

If you get tired of chaning the bulbs I'd suggest you replace them with LEDs. They don't burn out and they don't get hot, and yes you can change the colors if that is what you desire. You'll find the stock bulbs are clear and have amber condoms (light gels) on the bulb which are removeable. I ordered my replacements from superbrightleds.com and they worked perfectly.

As a side note, changing out the #74 type bulbs is a major pita, but the results are well worth it, especially if you're going for a color change.

www.superbrightleds.com has the gamut of bulb replacements. They also have various bulb brightnesses and spreads by buying the different configurations from bulb to wedge lights, and up to high brightness 9 bulb assemblies for all your dash, guage clusters, and aftermarket guages.

Anyone knows where I can get direct bulb replacements in my 97 GST that will produce clean bright white light? Kinda like HID in inteior. I'm sick of the piss yellow stock lights.

If your piss is coming out that color of orange, don't be concerned. You won't be around enough weeks more to get the bulbs ordered.

Dude I want map and kick panel lights, NOT DASH LIGHTS.

I know dash lights are orange and the inteior lights are PISS YELLOW. The same colour of piss after you hold it in for the whole day. GET IT?

what are the gauge cluster bulbs?
