does anyone know where the relay is to the windows and seats. i have been tryin to get my seats out, and i cant cuz they wont move then i find out my windows dont work....i checked all the fuses, incar and underhood. all are fine, the thing is the locks work and they are one the same plug as the windows. i need to take my seat out.

anyone know of something else i can check or a mysterious hidden fuse box. cuz neither of the 2 fuse boxes even say anything about accessories or windows etc....

check again under the hood in that fuse box. Its on the far left side, and there should be one for the alternator. The blue fuse is bolted in by two bolts and that is the one that would most likely cause this. Look closely this time.

nah it aitn that one, its cool....but it shouldnt have anything to do with the alternator anyway. i dont even have a alternator in the car(i aint drivin it, tryin to put it back together)..........my battery aint runnin low or anything, just the windows and seat are the only thing in the car that dont work.

thanks though i sure did go back out and check it though, but that ones cool

On my 99 GST they both go thru a 30 amp fusable link in the engine fuse box (it's a pink one on the upper left). The power windows (only) also has a relay way up under the left side lower dash where there are 3 relays mounted (hard to see). It's the one on the top right. Your '95 may be the same. In the following picture I have replaced it with the red wire.

i changed the one under the hood, it still dont work, but the one under teh dash, i am pretty sure mine dont look like that, but i will check tomorrow, i am pretty sure that both the seat and teh windows work off of the same fused something somewhere, cuz they both stopped wirkin at the same time.

i checked that relay, and replaced it with another one, all it does it make a buzzin noize when i try to move the seats or the windows. so i took it out and put the old one in , and it does the same thing. aint the red wire you used dangerous or is it safe to do that, nothin is gonna cathc on fire or short out or nuthin? is that why you did that, was yours doin the same thing?

let me know asap, i cant really do anything till i can get teh seats and the windows to move...cant paint, cant put in the carpet.

No, I replaced the relay so I could use the windows without having to turn the key on. The relay is normally on with the ignition anyway. And the circuit is still protected by a fusable link and window motor circuit breakers.

i tried to do the same thing you did, but i still get nothing. im confused now man......i know the far left one on the relay( the one on the left you have the wire pluged into) is a 12v plug but is the other one you have plugged in, is what, the signal wire? on any of those plugs where the realy plugs into. is there a ground. cuz i tested all of them many times, and none of them were a ground.
i think some how somethin got shorted, i dont know how. everything worked last time i tried them, now non of it works. and i foun ot today that the mirrors dont work either, but those are problably off of the same relay to.

I doubt any of the relay plugs have grounds since they all switch battery positive voltages to the windows and theft alarm stuff. My red wire just replaces the relay by connecting the battery to the window switches (which is what the relay does when it's energized). The red 10A fuse in the upper left is for the remote mirrors. (Remember now mine is a '99.)
