yep im in the springs. got a 97 Spyder GS 4g64.

which are the best yards to pick up used parts in the springs? from body to motor parts.

About the only junkyard that has parts for our cars is is Best Foreign Used Parts loacted on 400 S 16th Street. Phone number 633-5658.

I am also in the Springs and have a 96 GS-T with the Evo III 16-G ported. I put mine on a couple of weeks ago. What a pain in the butt. Do you have the 2G install kit? If you don't, then don't even start trying to put the new turbo on. I might be able to help on Saturday.

Stay AWAY from DOUG'S JAPANESE SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE CENTER. They are the reason I had to replace my engine and 2 turbos. I hate using the dealership because they screw me over everytime I go. I do all my own work now, except diagnostics. I, with the help of two friends installed my new engine. I have basically been involved with or done the work myself on every mod in my car. If you do the 255 LPH walbro, do the fuel pump rewire, you will hate it if you don't. As far the evo o2 housing goes, you will need a new down pipe, it isn't direct bolt on. I am using my stock down pipe with my evo III o2 housing, but I had to cut one of the holes for the bolt so that it would fit. I highly recommend Muffler Masters on Austin Bluffs for any exhaust work. They have done the exhausts on three of my cars an they all hold up well and sound great.

I'm in the springs, 98 gsx, I'm not old enough for beer (legally) but I do have a 16g if you still need help.

If you need a quality mechanic with a history of good service and killer prices, PM me.
