I am really into time attack and want to know if there are any other dsm'ers doing the same thing? I do own an AWD 1G and I know that time attack in AWD would be hard competing with the likes of EVO's STI's and even GTR's. Im just looking to see what people are using for set-ups. I'm focusing on weight and suspension design more than shear power. I have a buddy who is trying to build a subframe for the rear of his 1G and if it works im putting the order in for mine. :thumb:

Hey mate, my car is fully built for time attack I have a blog on the whole build process. You can check out my blog from my profile. There is a link to the older thread before I moved to the DSMTuners built in blog format.

I have read about your car! It is freaking amazing. Im looking into buying a 2G for time attack, the 1G handling is not up to par in any way. Thanks for the motivation and keeping us DSM guys in the competition!

This project will cost you alot of time and money.. good luck though and you should post a build for it =)

im getting my car ready, needs alot of work still but i think it will do well, will be no where close to Andrews car

What are you doing to your car libro? is it a 1G or a 2G? I read about a 1G Eclipse a few years ago competiting in the SCC challenge and coming in 3rd. These cars can handle well but not to the likes of EVO's or STI's. I want to compete in street class, but im limited on the type of suspension. I was going to have my fabricator build some strut/shock inserts to run the Koni double adjustables, but im leaning more torwards a new tubular subframe, which will have a lot more suspension play room and adjustability. I know the sub frame is going to cost $2500 plus. but it may fix a lot of our issues with how adjustable it will be.
