Parts are on the way, but due to an ever shrinking time frame I'm in need of assistance in acquiring the proper hardware for my seat and harness install. This car is being prepped for NASA TT and needs to meet the specifications in the CCR. Couple questions:

Seat mounts
- I didn't see any specifics on back plate sizes and proper installation methods. Are there any?

Harness
- What's the difference between a 'H' and 'V' style harness? Is it just the length of the shoulder belts?
- I'm planning on installing a 6pt in a 2G. What is the recommended mounting procedure for the two lap belts and two sub belts? Can I use the OEM anchor on driver's left? Do I use eye bolts with backplates on the remaining 3?

Thanks in advance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe.

<<<"H" style.

<<<"V" or "Y" style have a central hub where each piece clicks in.

I am pretty sure you won't find a 6 point harness that doesn't have a central hub or cam lock.

^^^^^^^^ You are correct with that sir I believe.

asian312 - I used the driver's side left OEM belt placement location and it has passed tech everytime. Now on the right side of the driver's seat, my bracket came with a mounting plate for that side. So I was good to go there. My shoulder starps attach to my roll cage on the strap bar and my sub belt goes though the floor pan. My belts & seat came with all the hardware so it was pretty easy to install them. I hope some of this helps :thumb:

Typically Y style refers to the shoulder harnesses connecting and having only one connection bolt in point for both shoulder harnesses, these are usually illegal. My lap belts aren't as far back as they should be, I'd estimate the angle to be about 10 degrees, the shoulder belts on mine are on the far end of steep. Need to get a rollbar put in it pretty badly.
