Ok. So i just finish replacing my turbo. "7 hours" Ya i know took so long because it was -15 out side and my garage isn't heated. BUt besides the point.

I installed my BOV "Greddy Type-S" i'm all happy the car runs great. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT When i shift, my BOV Flutters, i don't understand it. I loosen it up all the way no change, I tighten it down lil more than half. No change that i could noticed. Anyone ever have this problem? I'm running at 15PSI btw.

i'll try tighten it down tomarrow. Its late at night and with a open DP my neighbors will get pissed

I just ordered one of those BOV's next week. It's going on a stock system though. Anything special I need to know about installing it or just put it in place of the 2g BOV?

Yes, you can modify the 1g flange. All you have to do is use the gasket that comes with the Greddy bov as a template and tap 2 new holes.

I tighten it down till there about 4 threads showing, still flutters, I've loosen it as far as it gose still flutters, gone in between, still flutters :( I nuno what to do, is this bad?

Yeah, I have flutter issues as well. I have read about hooking up the bottom nipple on the Greddy bov to another source between the TB and turbo. So both nipples are connected to 2 separate sources. Supposedly that helps alot. I have yet to try it, so I cannot confirm if it helps or not.

I was thinking about that. Maybe someone has done it already and can offer some feedback on that. Anyone?

I believe you only connect the top one, not the bottom one. Leave the bottom one open(not connected). It's normal to flutter under low boost but if it's the same at higher boost, then i'm not sure what's causing it bro. And when you say fluttering... meaning it's vented to atmosphere? or rerouted to turbo pipe? I'll see what i can find to help you out.

It is suggested that you hook up the bottom nipple when you have issues with flutter. The source should be from somewhere in between the TB and turbo.

Arrrr as the others said tighten ye bish down .. also at idle and when revving feel for air leaking out of the bov .. out of the return line hole ( alough on adjustable bovs you dont need to worry about returning the line as long as you have the bov set right.. alot of people tend to think you need a vpc which is total bs.)

Actually someone recently did a write up about adjusting the Greddy bov. Let me see if I can find the thread.

Fix'd it, attached the hose to the lower nipple to work liked a charm
