If you didn't read my last post Ive been having problems with a clicking grinding noise from the pulley side of the motor. I checked my harmonic balencer to find it was still in good shape, but when I had my wheel off I saw that the noise was coming for the main pulley in oil pan. I left it alone for a couple of days ignoring it. I went to start my car this morning, It started right up then died. I removed the transfer case then oil pan the find my crank destroyed my crank angle sensor. I had no other signs of crank walk NO SHIFTING PROBLEMS, NO PEDDLE STICKING, nothing. For the 2gers out there I recommend switching to a 6 bolt asap. I think they all walk and if it hasn't walked it will. (my friends did the same thing on a '97 gst)

NEW Tranny JDM (Miles before walk 2,100 miles) :barf:
NEW Flywheel (Fidanza)
NEW Clutch ACT 2,600
NEW axles
NEW Light weight DS
NEW Valve cover and Seals
NEW Brakes
Brake lines Clutch line
and a few others like new fuel filter and fuel lines ext.
I changed the oil every 1,500 Miles with Mobil 1 synthetic

HOW MUCH MONEY DO I HAVE TO SPEND :confused:

Now Im looking for a 6 bolt so if you know someone who wants to sell one please please let my know asap.:thumb:

i don't think it's any coincedence that every time someone installs a heavier "race" clutch, the engine crank walks....hmmmm......??:dsm:
 
That really sucks man, the horror of 2g's. Main reason why i have a first.

But i have a block and a head layin around i dont need. Cams, lifters, pistons, intake mani, etc...all that is in it just no exh. mani or intake or tranny or turbo on it. If your interested hit me up. But sorry to hear about ur car.
