Temp Sensor causing car to flood? please help!

I just bought a 1990 GSX tonight and the lady said she took it somewhere to get fixed but they wanted 65$ an hr so she didnt fix it.

The problem is it happends 5-10% of the time. When trying to start the car it loads up on fuel & acts like if you left the choke in on a regular car but 3 times worse. She said the mechanic told her it was a sensor, she said the Temp Sensor Circut or something?

Any help will be appreciated. I just want to figure out what the problem is this way i could get it fixed. i'll keep you updated with details as you's start to give me information on this problem.

The temp sensor could cause that. Autozone should have them in stock for $30. Get a Haynes manual with it and you're all set. Changing that sensor should be a piece of cake.
