[RESOLVED] S-AFC II Install..... PROBLEMS!!! Please Help.

OK well me and my buddy tried putting the AFC II on my 97 Talon TSI and the only that worked was the throdle. any ideas wut could be wrong? If n e one who installed the AFC II on a second gen turbo please tell me where to hook up all the wires and please send pictures.. Help me out guys! thanks

I Used that site as my guide. Im only reading Throttle right now.. My RPM on the AFC isnt workin.. Its the Green wire i believe and its suppost to be taped in the pin 58 but on my ECU there isnt a wire there. wut do i do? AM I suppost to have any wires left? My Air flow doesnt work either? Help me out. thanks

I installed my own SAFC with my buddy but it was the first model SAFC. I didnt have any wires left. Maybe its not 58 that is weird. Hmm give a day and Ill talk to my buddy who has an SAFC2.

I just did mine for a 1G and maybe the same links I used may help you,..

Use the one on Taboospeedshop.com which is easy to use as it uses the color of the wires,..

For more in depth hookups, check the Vfaq page,..I did mine last week for a 1G and it had the Computer harness pin numbers and to what it referred to (ex, pin 1 + power,..etc)

this should help you locate the O2 sensor, knock sensor, etc,..

ok bringing this thread from the dead, wiring it in on a buds car...but of course there is no pin 58 on his car...any ideas? any other wires I can tap...this is for the RPM signal

Is this a 1g, a 2g or some other car? Because both the 1g and 2g have Pin 58.

The rpm signal is Pin 58 on the 2g and Pin 21 on the 1g.

haha yea I know there is a pin 58...last night I was a little out of it, and I was looking at the plug all weird, I straightened up right after I posted that, and saw the wire...I was like DUHHHHHH
