Oil from somewhere in engine bay

above link is pic of my engine. If you look hard, you can see a buildup of oil on the on the transmission case right below the left front corner of the valve cover....anyone ever have this problem? I also have a small antifreeze leak that i believe is the gasket to the thermostat, so no biggie....

Ive never had that problem. I dont know how long you've owned the car, but possibly it was an old leak that has been taken care of and just not cleaned. I would clean it up the best you can and see what happens.
Then you might detect the source if it is still leaking.
