need help on hooking up 1 wire o2 sensor

i had bought the 1 wire o2 sensor its a bosh 11027 and i hooked it up to the blue wire and i still got the damn check engine light. its a first gen 2.0 n/a

DSMs use heated O2 sensors which have two wires. You got the wrong O2 sensor. Are you sure the check engine light is because of an O2 sensor?

postive i heard from a link off the vfaq that a single wire o2 sensor would work in dsm's i dont know but i only get it sometimes is it because there is a bad ground somewhere. there was some other guy here that said he had used a single wire o2 sensor so i thought after all that it would work. do you have to have a wide band or what im looking for some help.
