ok well i was just driving regularly around my town when i noticed my clutch was getting softer and softer by the miles. when i got to my friends house, i let my car sit for about a half hour...and when i got back in my car it was like there was no pressure in the clutch at all.

i would have the clutch pushed to the floor and it would grind going into gear. and when i would drive...i could push the clutch down, and hit the gas and it would still go...acting as if the clutch wasnt even pushed in.

the clutch eventually started sticking to the ground.

my car used to have crankwalk..but the place where i took it did some welding (i have no idea on what tho) and they said it would be good for another 70,000 miles. and that was about 3,000 miles ago.

another thing is...my clutch was not smelling at all..like, none whatsoever.

so ne of your help is appreciated, im just curious as to what is wrong with my car.

ok, ill check that out...thanx. ne other suggestions??

you losing clutch fluid. I've done enough clutch changes to know this. Check the fluid level, then fill it up and bleed it. Follow the line so you know where it goes. Have a friend pump the clutch. The fluid while squirt out where the leak is, if the hole is very very small it will seep out, but thats why you traced the line, run your finers along the line while you do this, if you do not see or here the fluid squirting. You will feel the general area where it is leaking from. Then as you friend pumps the cluctch pedal. You will feel the leak push out.

Look for a crack in the hard line where it enters the slave cylinder, right at the inner shoulder of the compression nut. I had two crack there.

Replace the damned thing, and that bizarre accumulator, with a stainless line from RRE.
