insatlling 1g intake

i have run into a little problem my 2g ing coils and some eletronic assc arent bolting in the same spot as on the stock 2g intake( not enough room) for the fuel rail and the coils... anybody have an idea thanks

You do know that virtually everybody on these Boards considers the 2G Intake (& Exhaust) superior to the 1G Intake & Exhaust - It's only the 1G Head & Throttle & or the entire 6-Bolt body people swap ... Just wanted to get that in...

ok well i finally got it together and as far a 2g intake being better than the 1g i dont think so. my car made 18.4 more hp and 11 ft of tq today on the dyno w/ the 1g intake

2g intake is better, flows more air, maybe your 2g mas was really ####ed for it to be putting out 18 less hp then the 1g. 99% of people with 1gs who are serious about preformance get a 2g intake, must be something with your car

have you ever compaired a 2g and 1g intake mai the 1g runners are twice the size and alot shorter of the 2g which means more and less distance to travel. now the 2g ext ami is much better the the 1g but i thnk you mistaken on the intake

Right.
The 2g Exh mani is better than the 1g but the 1g intake is better than the 2g.

2g TB elbow also better.
