i recently did a big 16g install on my car and everything went pretty well, at first the wastegate cotter pin broke off and was causing me to free boost to like 25 PSI but i fixed that, and at the same time added a MBC. i kept it turned all the way down to test and i was pushing 14PSI in 1st gear and 9 PSI in 2nd and up. if i downshift to 3rd at like 60 MPH it will spike to like 14 but go back to 9 constant. when i turn up the boost controller this stays exactly the same i turned it all the way both ways and nothing. its a generic bolt/nut with a spring type. my friend has the same one and runs 20PSI fine and it works. could it be on backwards possibly? if it was backwards would it mess anything up, should i try switching the tubes to the nipples and seeing what happenes. im just afraid if i do that and it actually is right now ill mess something up

anyone know whats goin on

hmm i was just looking over some FAQs and im pretty sure its on the right way although i didnt try switching it. assuming its on the right way, what could be the problem?

I have the opposite problem. My first gear is .7 bar, second is 1 bar, then third shoots to 1.5 bar....

Basically a stock car, just free mods & a mbc that is confusing the heck out of me right now...:barf:

well i went back over it and it was on backwards, DUH!!! runs awesome now set at 16 PSI pulls nice and hard =)
