I have a 1992 gsx basically stock. It has a turbo timer and muffler and thats it. One day i noticed my temp gauge wasnt working, then after a while when im driving it rise to baout halfway. But then when ilet off the gas or downshift the temp gauge starts togocrazy. It looks like my needle is having a seizure. Any suggestions? O, i also might think that it has something to do with my coolant cap not being tight. I forgot toscrew it back in one day and i got coolant everywhere, could i have shorted out a ground orsomething? thanks

The next time your car is cold...preferably overnight...top up your coolant and then run the car for about 25 mins with the rad cap off...It sounds like you have an air bubble or pocket trapped in your cooling system...that should solve the jumping needle...let me know how it works out man...

-Also check the sensors on the thermostat housing right below where you fill coolant, look for loose/broken wire on the connectors.
