1992 Talon Tsi Turbo FWD 5-Speed
Alright, the last 2 days I took my dash completely out and replaced it because it had a little water damage and was peeling in one corner. I got the new one in, and used all the original parts such as wire harness, cluster, HVAC controls, etc. Anyways, when I was done I took it out for a drive to see if I had any rattles, due to hand full of extra screws.
Heres the problem: I'll be driving, at any speed, no rattles and then I will get a slight rattle and the speed odometer jumps between 80 and 90mph, and as soon as the rattling stops, it goes to the correct speed. Sometimes it does this, sometimes it doesnt. I dont know too much about the cluster, my guess is that I'm going to pull it out tonight and mess with it and put it back together and hope it works right. Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
