Vibration at speed

Alright, I'm pretty sure my problem is warped rotors or possibly wheel bearings, just wanted to check and see if any other possible things could be factored in. At speeds of say 40+ mph I notice vibration up front... sometimes its worse than others, sometimes it'll go away when I speed up even more etc... so very sporadic. Any ideas?

Sounds like rotors to me. Do the brakes work fine as they are? Stopping from high speeds etc.?

Nah, CV joints will click and clunk around the corners. They shouldn't vibrate since they are mounted inside of the hub itself. I guess his vibration could be excessivly worn ball joints or a tie rod but It is really hard to determin without actually seeing it. Good idea though!

I have the same problem. Mitsu told me bad tie rods and control arm balljoint. I'm waiting for spring to do mine.

I'll be doing the rotors and pads within the week... so I should know by this weekend.

Check your balljoints while you're under there, just to be sure.

I'm not sure why nobody's mentioned this yet... but the most common cause of vibration above a certain speed is definately wheels that are out of balance. If you haven't already thought of that, you should get your wheels balanced (and rotating them while you're at it could be helpful too if you haven't done that in a while).

Also, I had problems with mine vibrating when one caliper was starting to hang up on a warped rotor, but I would check to make sure they are balanced before I would start replacing stuff if I were you.
