I have quite the cr. I figured it to be about 10.3-10.5:1 due to some kind of buildup.

I use seafoam regularly, and once got it down to 205, but thought it would be bad to be dousing it every week with that stuff.

I know I need to fix the valve seals since I SAW they were screwed when I took off my intake mani. The car holds a very nice and steady vacuum once warmed up (21in/hg)

Would Mopar CC mess something up trying to free all this crap up? Do I have anything to worry about, like finding I have bad rings to boot?

As long as you suck out most of the gunk in the morning before putting the plugs back in and starting the car, doing the overnight MCC has no real dangers that I know of. And I doubt that you have a rings problem, given that your compression is too high, not too low.

Or do you have a DOHC Galant engine?

dohc yeah, the mighty ECLIPSE 4g63 n/t. Is there a difference, if so, then why is it important?

I was worried about clogging the cat or having fluid slip past the rings mostly.

I asked because some of the old Galants, along with the 420 2Gs, have 9.8:1 compression, which is darned close to 225 psi. If you only have 9:1 compression, then something is up.

Mine has to be a case of buildup cause it looks untouched and it's a 7 bolt. Not to mention that the compression jumped back up after me not seafoaming it for a period

The MCC is good stuff. I use it as directed on the can though. I know alot of the other guys let it sit over-night (with success) but I like spraying it in to the intake so it will clean the intake manifold, runners, intake ports, valves as well as the combustion chamber. For the Speed Density cars, we just spray it right there in to the throttle body. For you MAF guys you'll need a turky baster (minus the rubber suction thingy) and to undo your pcv hose. Stick the turkey baster in to the hose and just start spraying. Don't let the car die out because you don't want too much liquid in there that it won't ignite and burn. This may require someone else to hold their foot on the gas. This process works real good for well maintained cars. Those that have not had this service done in 30+ thousand miles may require soaking or both.
