ok here is the problem.

the day after i did this:

Then after i did that the symtoms started.

when i drive moderately and im not getting to boost its ok, but when i floor it it jerks REALLY bad at about 5100RPM. So then i changed the plugs. and the jerk got a little better. Then i turned down the boost and it got a little better. but its still doing it. I dont think it could be fuel cut, i have the walburo 255, and i dont see why it would be boost cut because it just started doing it after i did the burnout. What could this be? I was thinking the injectors, so i ran some injector cleaner in the system and its still not 100% fixed. also when it jerks it shoots a large flame out my exhust. i checked all my piping and vacuum lines, and they all look to be find.

so as of right now, the boost is at about 11psi.

HELP!!

The flame out your exhaust would seem to point to a rich condition, what kind of fuel tuning have you done?

I'd be almost certain it's not dirty injectors. Dirty injectors happen very rarely if you use premium gasoline from reputable stations, and if they do go bad it's not all of a sudden like you describe.

well i got the NGKBRP7ES, and i didnt gap them, was i supposed to? Even so, it was doing it before i changed them, could that still be the problem? I still have stock plug wires, should i replace those? i dont really figure it could be those unless they just burned up out of nowhere.. is that possible?

Also, i have to form of fuel tuning.. could the ECU just start acting up for no reason? It ran like a champ just a few days ago, and i didnt do anything else performance wise for it to be changed. think i could of messed someting up when i was doing the burnout? it was pretty large...

I NEED HEEELP!!!!!:barf:

also when its at about 10psi, i feel the turbo, but it feels like its being held back. I can feel and hear is spool, and i feel it pull, but when i gets to about 10psi, i feels like something wont let it go..

You should always gap your plugs before putting them in, I'd recommend .028" If the wires are old you should replace them also because the jerking under boost sounds like a mis-fire to me.

As far as the strange "held back" feeling goes, I never really figured out what causes this. It's most likely your timing getting pulled due to the ECM sensing knock. I know what you're talking about though...you press the gas and hear the turbo spool, but it's not accelerating like normal. If you let off and then romp on it again, it'll pull just fine.

hmm, is there any way i can tell by lookin if the plug wires are bad?

If i do end up getting new plug wires, should i uprade to accel 8mm's?
or should i get magnacore or are they all just the same?

thanks for all your help!

I'd say it's hard to tell just by looking at them...unless it's dark out and you can clearing see it arching somewhere. If you have more than 30k on those wires they *might* be bad. For a budget replacement I'd get the NGK wires/Oem wires, or get the Magnecores if you have money buring a hole in your pocket.

hmm.. well the magnacores, are they worth the money? I mean, every little bit helps right? if its just 20-30 bucks more i mine as well get those.. right?

let me know what you think.

On the origional, if its not the wires.. what else can i check?

thanks for all ya'lls help!!!
