slipping clutch maybe?

Allright.....this is whats up. I have a 95 rs with 100k and its a manual. When i try to move from a stop from first, it feels like the clutch is hopping. But once the car is up to 2500 rpm, it goes away (meaning the hopping). Does anyone know what is is wrong and/or how to fix it?

Sounds to me like it is slipping. Does it almost feel like your in neutral till 2500RPM's? Just so I understand you correctly. I would start gathering my pennies for a new clutch though. Mine went completely out on me in one shot around 85k. Be happy with 100k.

The car moves, it just does a little hopping action. At first i thought it was because I had bald tires but when i replaced those, I found out that more to it. Its like it has the jitters until 2500rpm.

doesn't sound like a slipping clutch to me, a slipping clutch is when u try to accelerate, and your rpm's just go up but u aren't really gaining speed, because your flywheel is spinning but ur clutch isn't quite grabbing, so your engine is revin up, but your not gettin the power to the wheels cuz your clutch isn't engaging. sorry i have no clue what is making ur car hop, but sure as heck doesn't sound like a slippin clutch

Now that it was explained better I'm against the slipping clutch as well. However, I am not sure where you could start either.
