hi my friend bought a 90 talon tsi. his car doesnt reach full boost only 5 to 6 lbs.... and his car is really slow and revvs slow....anyone know whats wrong? also his taillights are out when you turn the lights on but his brake and turns work... i check all the fuses...but the one that says tail (in the engine compartment) was all messed up like melted....thanks any help is appriciated!

Change the fuse first(obviously). If it keeps blowing, you have to find where the short circuit is.


Get a manual that will let you trace the wiring from the tail light assembly to its power source. I would check around the light assembly for any bare wires that may be touching ground. Also, check the condition of the wires under the engine bay fuse block.

Something is shorting, you just have to find it. Good luck:laser:
