I need some help asap. First my 92 n/t n/awd is overheating from time to time. It cools itself down when rpm are up, but then it goes right back up. I just got the car and it sat for about a year or more. Before it sat it got a new engine, new radiator, new hoses, new clutch kit, and new flywheel. Also the tranny grinds when I go to shift into second at higher rotations (basically above idle), and when i go to shift from reverse to first unless I stop.

The pedal has about an inch or so of play, and I think if I can tighten the pedal down the problem might be fixed (my crx had the same problem). Other than that the car shifts near perfect between the other gears, except reverse is alittle hard to get into.

And finally my steering wheel is off about 1/4 rotation ( spokes are off), the car doesn't really pull and if I jerk the wheel from side to side the steering feels tight and right. Wondering if I can adjust it or even if I replace it if my aftermarket wheel will sit right.

over heating ur thermistat is prob getitng stuck and get your alighnment done and when u shift and grinds ur syncros are weak or bad

I replaced the thermastat, but I think it was the cap causing the problem. It overheated without the thermastat in at all, but it hasnt since i replaced the cap. And my alignment is on but my wheel is off. Im not sure its the synchros cause my crx did the same thing because the clutch didn't get enough seperation, but its getting checked now. Thanx for your help guys.

Well I found that my alignment is on but the dealer thinks that the wheel is off cause someone didnt pay attention when changing the engine, and put it together with the wheel off. Basically they told me that my steering is fine and its nothing to worry about, but they couldn't tell me if a new aftermarket wheel can be installed straight.
