i finally got the at to mt swap done and have sorted out most of the bugs. the car runs and drives ok but when the clutch pedal is released the car makes a clunk type noise (persistant when the pedal is released) it sounds like the flywheel or something similar is coming in contact with something. when the clutch pedal is depressed the noise goes away. you can hear it when driving and also when in neutral with the clutch released. should i adjust the pedal linkage or pedal stops? any other ideas?

my friend had that same problem. it had something to do with something he didnt have to take the transmission all the way out for, like something wasnt adjusted right. if u know what im talkn about, if not, his sn is bikerman1069 on aol, just ask him about it he might be willing to help ya. i swear he said throw out bearing, but i thought that was inside the tranny or somewhere u had to take it off to get to. oh well  im so car stupid....:barf: OMG

phat daddy the noise just disapeared! i've been tinkering with it for the last few hours and can't get the noise to come back. i love it when things fix themselves (although this rarely happens)
