Every morning, I start my car and every moring the same thing is happing.... ( been about a week ).... I start it up and have to turn the key and hold it just a second longer than normally..... to get it started, at least mostly started..... It seems like when I turn the engine, the air does not want to come out of the exhaust.... untill I press down on the gas, and force the air out...... I sense the air flow stopping or at least not wanting to go passed the half way point.... from the intake.... to the tip of the exhaust....... after reving a little.... the air then shoots out and the car if fine..... air is flowing nicely.....

When I go places.... such as maybe a store or whatever..... I leave the car for maybe 2 hours.... and come back..... and the problem is not there....... It's only when the car is sitting for maybe 5 hours or more does this happen.....

Any ideas on what I should do?... change fluids somewhere, or something...... I maintain my car well..... so it doesnt need a oil change, fluids flushed.... etc. unless something weird happend and I have to do it again....

I have same thing going on on my Camry 86 when it is worm it stras like brand new car but when i has been off for a while and i try to start it up 90% of the time i have to push the gas atherwhise the car will turn off or will have hard time in the first 5-10 sec after start.I think it have someting to do with the fuel, maybe fuel preasure regulator or cloged fuel filter if they ok check fuel pump and injectors and fuel rods. Also another thing could be ur distributor cap, check if u get enough fire for each cilindar.I have bad distributor cap and sometimes my car wont even strat,so when it does that i unplug the ignition wier from 1st cilindar stick nail into the end of the wier and start the car with 3 cilindars and it starts imidiately. Then i turn it off go back and plug the first cilindar wier back and start the car again and it starts with no problem.
So what I ll sugest u to chek furst is ur "Distributor cap" may be one of the ignitors is bad.:thumb:

Yeah.. I had to put my stock intake tube back on, but instead of putting that air box back in place, I just put in a aftermarket filter. That shouldnt casue an problems should it?.... I'm planning on getting a new CAI, for X mas....
