bad vibration when ever turbo is engaged. . .

I have a 1990 Laser RS Turbo. The turbo stopped working about 4 weeks ago, I thought that it was seized. But just 4 days ago the turbo started working again, as good as ever. Now today on my way to school I had it in 4th gear going up a hill at about 85 mph, then shifted to 5th. After i shifted and gave it enough gas for the turbo to kick in i started to get a really bad vibration. I only get the vibration when the turbo is engaged. I figure that the turbo should have never started working again after it was seized. I have no idea what is wrong, any help would be much appreciated.

Have you actually pulled the intake off and checked the turbine for shaft play and ease of spinning? I would suggest you definitely inspect it, you could be forcing the turbine to spin and possibly knock off chunks of the blade which will end up in you motor somewhere.

This is similar to what im feeling, Ive taken the t/c on and off now 2 times. Shaft play and end play was minimal.

Are you both FWDers. If so, might want to inspect motor mounts.
