okay, so i just put a new ceramic 5 puck clutch, pressure plate, and tranny on the car, problem was when we jacked the engine up a little to put the tranny on easier, we kinda did it too high and the hard metal pump that swings around the front of the block, and goes into the water pump, like seperated (or so i think).

So anyway we get my car down ready to roll, and it keeps leaking antifreeze! I got a new o-ring, and pushed my balls off for the pipe to shimmey back in the water pump, but it only wants to go to the very edge. If it goes in any farther (even though i can't get it farther), the bolt that holds the pipe to the engine block will be far to over to go in!

I tried high temp silicone on the whole outside, but it still likes leak outta a tinnie crevice i can't silicone.

ANY SUGGESTIONS? Please don't say "change you water pump dude." That's not what i wanna hear, but i'm desperate! my babie's been outta commission 2 months and wants to be driven!

If you push the water pipe in crooked it can pinch or cut the o-ring and it will leak. Drain the coolant and take the pipe back out and make sure the o-ring is still intact. Clean up and dry both the pipe and the hole it goes into and put some RTV on the o-ring. Make sure you are lined up with the hole and push. You should be in far enough when the support bolt hole is lined up. Just take your time and be patient. It'll go back together, the RTV will dry and it shouldn't leak anymore.
