bad turbo???

ok my car seems to have a little misfire wen i rev it and hold the rpm's steady.the turbo is spooling really late.hits full boost like at 4000 or higher.the car is a 90 eclipse gsx.it has brand new msd spark plug wires new ngk plugs.this week im going to replace the cas and the maf since i hacked mines im going to put one that hasnt been touched.when i floor it i feel the car push till about 4500 then i feel no power,it takes forever to reach 6000 rpms.a friend of mine said the turbo might be bad or my manifold might have a crack.for now im going to replace the maf and cas and see how it goes from there,i just need opnions on what it might be.thanks guys

Check for intake/exahust leaks and that your base timing is set correctly.

Also not a bad Idea to check that your cam sprocket timing marks line up when the crank pully is at TDC. I had issues with my exhaust cam off 1 tooth causing similar issues.

timing marks are right,i checked them before.i washed my engine one time and wet the cas ,so daz why i wanna change it ,maybe it got shorted or something

My CAS somehow adjusted itself (both bolts were tight when I checked it) when I replaced my lifters and was running 20deg base ign timing. Ran like poop. May want to get out the timing light to check yours.

yea thats what i was planning.but one of my friends said the turbo might be badd,ill leave dat as my last thing to do,im gonna change the cas see wat happens
