I know it is imperative to change one's timing belt. My question is, Can it be done on your own? How much would a dealership charge for the timing belt change?

I have 60,000 miles on my GS-T Spyder, and I am pretty sure I need to change it soon.

yes u can do ur timing belt for your own car.... its not too too hard.... check out FAQ thingie it teaches u there or get a chilton's guide and a DSM CD

Very important that you need to get it changed, maybe not A.S.A.P. but watch it. I think it should be changed around 75k, I THINK. As far as dealer cost around $320 for parts, including a water pump and labor? another $200?
Don't worry follow the Vfaq on changing it and you should be ok, I a first timer and I'm going to change mine at the end of this month.
By the way if it does break I believe your going to bent a valve, so better safe that sorry.
