I have a 92 TSI AWD, I just rebuilt the whole engine and tranny. THe car runs awesome but i have a few concerns. I have turned the boost up to 14-15 psi.I just adjusted the clutch pedel so there is not that inch of play in it and since then it all went down hill. When i was in 5th gear i floored it and the car started pulling good the at about 4300 rpms the tach jumped to 7k. So i let off the gas. I stopped and gave the car a good hard launch about 15 min. later and first it pulled hard, but then when i hit second it did the same thing. The car never did this before, it has about 800 miles on it. It never slipped when i put it in, and it seems to grap hard all the time while driving, a guy told me to put it in 3rd gear and let the clutch out and if it stalls it is good. SO i did that and let it out really slow and it stalls everytime i try that. The clutch is just a Beck-arnley replacement from napa. I dont want to buy another clutch because this one seems to work good unless i try a hard run. I adjusted the clutch back how it was with a little bit of play and it still does slips on a hard pull. The flywheel was also resurfaced and stepped when i rebuilt the engine, i dont think it has to do with the flywheel cause it worked fine before.
Thanks
Tom
