Can engine be installed with compressor bolted on? Quick please!

I removed the compressor to take the engine out, but I am not positive if that was even necessary. Can I put the engine in the the compressor bolted on the block? Thanks

i install all my engines with all accesories installed.

I also dropped my engine in the the compressor on.

The compressor's usually taken off to leave the AC system sealed, saving the evac/recharge procedures and costs.
