EGR check engine light

I just installed a new manifold on my 94 Eclipse GS and blocked off the EGR. Now the check engine light is on. does anybody know how to do it so the light doesn't come on?

You need to go back and make sure everything is completely blocked off.

A friend of mine has the same problem but not all the time. When it does come on, he just clears it with logger. Not a fix, but it is not always on either.
