I need to replace my valve stem seals (91 GSX) with the head still on. If I have my cyl at TDC, can I let the valve drop in (will the piston be far enough up to catch it from falling)? If not, could I just pressurize the cyl using a compr. testor lead and an air compressor to hold it up?

-You can either pressurize the chamber or turn the piston to the top on the cylinder that you're working on, I have the best luck with this compressor ,it's kind of tight on some of the valve but it get the job done, try not to drop any of those keeper off the oil passage on the head.
