Greddy Boost Gauge not reading?

I just finished installing a Greddy Electronic Warning series boost gauge and I am getting no boost readings from it.

I checked the wiring and all seems to be in order. It turns on when I turn on the lights, it jumps from resting to 0 bar when I hit the ignition, then immediately after ignition it plops back down to resting and I get no readings.

I installed the Y shaped hose bracket where it told me to here

I cut the line from the intake manafold to the solenoid (the line that is next to the blue dashed line) and then ran it to the line in for the electronic portion.

The factory boost gauge is still getting readings. What's going on?

Where did you wire the power wire to?

I have the power line (red wire) hooked up to the constant 12v white wire on the ignition bracket. I have the orange wire hooked up to the 12v ignition line like the manual says, and the ground is fine, as is the one responsible for going on with the taillights. My aim name is SYLFEIN if you'd like to chat to get at this faster seeing as how you just replied

EDIT: Oh bloody hell I think I hooked it up to the red/black for the starter and not red/white for ignition 12 volts. I'll get back to you and see if this helps

yeah I'm an idiot, I should have realized this as soon as I saw the needle move during ignition and then die after.

I read almost a bar during initial boost then it goes down to about .7
We'll see how this works out once I get my HKS controller functioning.
