Today I took off my MAS and looked where my BOV tube is and there was a thin layer of oily grime on the walls of the intake is that normal? it seems like hardly anything but what would cause any oil to enter the Intake?

damn Defiant you always come through with the help, Im gonna do that catchcan today. btw your talon is what I want mine to look like one day.

Edit* should I take my MAS off again and clean out the oil in the intake and cut the Dump tube? just wondering your opinion

unplug it on the vavle cover side or the intake side? im gonna assume the intake side but then wouldnt I need to plug it, which would cause it to not get any ventilation either right?

I went to Kragen and bought a Fram Fuel Filter, G2 was the number I ended up getting but I was confused weither i should get the g1 or g2 only differant was alittle smaller filter and hose on the G1. I hooked it all up and it works great. Im gonna take off the intake today and wipe all the oil and grime and possibly cut the Bov dump tube what do you guys think of that mod?

I don't think you have that dump tube in a 1G trunk, do you?

As for cleaning it out, eh, either way. It's got enough wind blowing through there that the oil's not wet for long, and what was wet already got passed through the turbine. It's not a big job, but whatever oil was left in there won't bother anything.

I suppose i could just go look, but someone prolly has the answer for me... LOL OMG
DO the 1g's have a restrictive BOV dump tube, or is it fine, like defiant mentioned?

Thanks

Wayne
