car was driving fine. Then I got back in after going to the store, and it had a cel. It still drove fine, so I drove it home about a mile away. I tried to start it up again, and it idled roughly for a few seconds(like a cylinder was missing) and then it just died. I reset the ecu, started it up once and it was fine. Shut it down and started it back up again, and it started doing the same thing again.

I checked around the engine as I have just recently installed a supra smic, but all the hoses were on quite well. Then I checked the plug wires. The wire all the way to the left(closest to passenger side) was loose at the coil pack. I tried getting it to fit more snugly but it didnt help. So i just pulled it all the way out and started it up to see if that was actually the problem. With that wire out it still did the same thing. I'm guessing this is being caused by bad plug wires, but could it also be the coil pack?

-You can either test the resistance of the wire or spray a fine mist of water on/around the wire while the motor is running and look for arc.

update: the car will crank but wont turn over now. I think(im not 100 percent sure) that im getting no spark to cylinders 1 and 4. help me please.
