Clutch problems

I'm having clutch problems. Last night I was driving car doesn't want to go in gear. I have the clutch pushed in but it doesn't engage. Once it's in gear it stays, doesn't slip at all, I just can't use the clutch to put into gear. I checked the clutch master cylinder resevoir and that was dry. Filled it up today but it didn't seem to take much at all but the tank is full. Now the clutch goes all the way to the floor and stays. Any ideas? Bad slave or something? Any help would be appreciated.

If it was dry and you added more to it, then you probably have air in the lines and you need to bleed the lines.

also check for leaks in the lines. because if that ran dry then you have a leak somewere. and if there is air in the lines then your pedal wont come off the floor. check were the clutch master cylinder goes into the car, were it connects into the pedal. sometimes they leak there.

I have the same problem! Found my leak. Follow the line from the resevoir, behind the engine, over to the MAF. There it meets a tube and out of that tube it runs across the front of the engine toward your oil filter. There is a fitting where it meets the tranny. That is where mine is leaking. Second time in 3 months. RRE has a flexible line that you can buy that is suppose to take care of it. $20. I have one on order now. Just see if you can tighten it a little and keep some brake fluid in the car like I do until you get it. Hope this helps.
