ok i was having bad hesitation from half throttle to WOT.. so sombody told me it could be my knock sensor and the whole phantom knock deal... so i did the ground the threads thing and it made no difference... so i just unplugged the knock sensor itself... NO difference... another thing that was funny... no CEL.. so i unplug the front o2 sensor and drive it around the block.. NO DIFFERENCE! another funny thing.. no CEL. so then i unplugged the TPS sensor with the o2 sensor unplugged still.. car still drove exactly as it did before with all the hesitation from half to WOT, still NO CEL!!!! finaly i unpluged the MAF sensor.. car ran like crap but again! NO CEL.. i did everything i could to get the CEL to come on and cant get it to come on.. so everybody i talk to now says that my ecu is bad.. i have a 96 gs-t spyder but i have already had to replace the ecu 1 time and i put a 95 talon tsi comp in it... is my ecu bad again?? i have replaced every sensor including o2.. just recently had timing belt done.. and i went to get it scanned at autozone and NO codes.. i know the CEL bulb works cause it comes on when i crank the car but then goes off... WHAT COULD THIS BE! please help i feel helpless i have done everything i can think of and the car just keeps getting slower and slower.. i got outran by a honda with a fartcan today :[ Please help!
