i just finished the install on the 16g i got from FP...i got the evo III unported/unclipped 16g...i ported my o2 housing pretty decent but not a ton and i sort of ported my exhaust manifold but i didnt take it off from the head because of the one damn bolt and plus i needed to get it done so i packed the manifold with a little towel and got rid of the step as best as i could form under the car....well, i put it on, didnt break a single bolt, and everything went fine....put everything back together and built oil pressure through the turbo by removing the plug wires but since i was clueless at the time, i cranked it too long and it folled the engine...waited it out changed the plugs and bam, it was fine.....so i take it for a drive and at about 3 grand, it build up to 12-10 lbs fluctuating (sp)...then at about 4g, it hits 20-22....there was no nipple on my j-pipe when i got it from FP so i put one line to the wastegate and one to the intake itself and it hit 20 with the turbo xs MBC closed so thats when i T'd a line from the bov vaccume line straight to the wastgate so i would only hit 12 lbs and it would creep to 15-18...im getting a new j-pipe with a nipple on it and ill hook my mbc up the right way and see if that helps, but basically, how can i eliminate boost creep...i just want to run low boost right now and later on when i get it tuned, ill run 19-20....i just want it to hold boost....btw, the evo III 16g is one badass turbo i might ad at least from going from a t25 on a 2g...thanks a lot

It may have something to do with you running low boost and the internal wastegate not being able to bypass enough exhaust gas. So in other words port the hell out of your flapper if not upgrade it and port it too.

if i were you i would look into replacing the o2 housing with somehting like victory performances o2 housing. the o2 housing if your problem, form what i understand, and you may have not ported it enough, and that thing is a real bi*** to get out once its back in. your best bet would be one of the o2 housings victory performance carries.

O2 housings have very little to do with creep, its mostly the turbine housing. Also, larger than stock flapper will make it difficult ot hold high bots later on if you decide to do so. So try to avoid it.
