This is on my 95 GS-T automatic. When I first start up the car and press on the gas, it squeals like a banshee, and if I just put her in drive and go I have NO power for the first maybe 15 seconds until the squeak goes away. So, I pop the hood when the car is cold, turn it on, press on the throttle to see where the squeak is coming from. I took off my heat shield and this is what I found. The red circle, the bolt is broken off in there, and the green circle, that bolt was 3/4 of the way out. I screwed the bolt back in, went down and got new gaskets. But before I put everything back together, could there be any other explanation for this squeak? It's coming from that general area. If I start the car, and let it idle for 5 minutes, then go, I cant hear the squeak and the car has its power back. I think this is the problem, but there maybe something I'm over looking? Thanks in advance!
