rpm wire.

I am trying to install my profec e-01 on my 95 gsx. I need to tap a wire to get the rpm signal. I searched and could not find what i was looking for. from searching i found it might be wire #58 goin to the ecu.

would that be right? the engine ignition signal? or should i be tapping something else to get the rpm signal?

I am pretty sure you dont want the ignition signal. Check out the pic at the bottom of this thread:

Keep in mind that the pic is of the pins on the ECU not the harness. 2g is on the left.
