I can't see, window won't defrost..........

I hit the button to turn on my rear window defroster, the little light comes on, but that's it.

checked the fuse, ok, checked the plug-in, ok, the copper lines do not appear to be damaged....

what else is there to check/replace??????????

Have an ohmmeter? Time to get one, if not. GENTLY pull the plugs on the glass- make sure to not pull the grid from the glass- and test the continuity between them.
