I had the unfortunate experience of the timing belt breaking. The valve went through the head but at least it didn't fall into the block. I replaced the head with a 90 Laser turbo and kept the same intake. My car is a 91 laser rs n/t. Everything is back together now and I have a terrible vibration at under 1000 rpms and from 1500-2000 rpms. The worse is at around 1800. I know the balance shafts are in the right places. I haven't adjusted the timing with the cam angle sensor yet. Could this cause it? Also I'm going to do a compression test to see if there was damage that wasn't noticeable. Their was a small dent in the piston top but it didn't crack and everything seemed ok. I don't think the motor mount went bad from taking it out but is it possible to not have it lined up right. We marked the original location and put it back were it was. My list of things to check are

1. Cam angle sensor
2. Compression
3. Crank angle sensor??
4. Motor mounts

Any ideas guys?????
