heres some back ground on my problem, at the begining of August i took a friend to court. we had to drive an hour and half to and from the court house. later that day i went to go get my paycheck, i tried to pull out of my street and my car felt like it had a boost leak. i got back to my house and check all the piping and couldnt find one. i took a quick drive up and down my street, the rpms would go up but the car wouldnt move. the next day i took the car to a local shop to have it looked at. the guy at the shop was convienced that it was my computer and started messin with my safc(which was zeroed out). after a week of him having the car he said i should take it the the mitsubishi dealership. i had it towed to the dealer and the guy at the local shop called and told them the problem. before taking the car to the dealership i had a conversation with GSX4LIFE about my car and he had said it could be my tranny, which made sense to me but not the guy at the shop.
the dealership called me yesterday and said they couldnt fix the car. they pulled the code P0120 from the car and check it out and everything was fine. i again asked if it could be the tranny(keep in mind im a/t), they said that that wasnt the problem that the car was just gettin to much fuel. so i went and looked at the safc. everything on it was changed, so i set it according to http://home.comcast.net/~tarryo/kyle/tuning.html
i took the car for a spin around the lot of the dealership and i was back to my orginal probelm excpet now the car will not go past 2k. you can hear the turbo spool and i was getting 5 psi, it just wont go past 2k. i put the car in park and reved it, had to rev it to 5k to get a faint sound from my bov.
im out of ideas. the dealer said it wasnt the tranny but i think they didnt look. the car is still at the dealership and im about to go take one of the techs out for a spin in it to show them whats wrong with it. does anyone else think it would be the tranny??? which was just serviced a month ago. any help would be appericated. sorry about the long post.
