Recently, my turn signal starting blinking fast aka I have a light out. Well, turns out that I don't persay have a light out, but here is the situation. As long as the parking lights are off, whenever I apply the brake, the right brake light works. However, once the parking lights are turned on, whenever the brake is applied, the brake light will no longer come on, but instead turn off (since its normally a lighter red for the parking light). It's not the bulb as I have already tried using a new bulb, so I'm basically stumped. I"ve never really messed much with circuits and relays and so forth, so any advice is welcomed.
Thanks,

I wonder if you got the new bulb in backward- is it a dual-filament bulb? They're only supposed to go in one way, but it takes little force to get them wrong.

Otherwise, I'm afraid you're about to lean how to trace circuits....

Yeah, unfortunately, you can only make the bulb fit oneway. I'm thinking it might be the socket that the bulb goes in. It looks like the wiring might be messed up inside of there and possibly grounding out. I did notice that although the bulb does come on when the parking lights aren't on, its not near as bright as the driver's side light. Guess I'm going to have to find a socket at a parts store cause the dealer won't just sell that piece. Thanks for the advice.
