Alright well put my engine back in and all was well for 3 days, then it started not to hold as much boost from 16 to 12 then to 8,4 now nothing. engine did get real hot when turbo spooled up. i put big 16g ported and clipped in there thinking it was the stock turbo that was the problem. now the car still won't build boost and still gets how i ran a compression test on it and came up with 140 across all 4 cylinders. is it the head gasket thats blown or is it a vacumn leak of some sort. i can't find what the problem is i changed thermostat and flushed radiator still overheats and now won't build boost.

Your wastegate could be broken, staying open and just releasing all boost to the exhaust. You could have huge boost leaks, you should have a bad idle and it should stumble alot. I would check your wastgate......btw, is this a HR non-turbo kit?

nah i did an engine swap from my nt 2.0 to a turbo 2.0. couln't be the wastegate because the 16g is brand new. i'll look into the boost leak because it does have rough idle and stumbles when you give is gas. and there is a hissing and air blowing out from under the car.

Haha, you just awnsered your own question. Boost leak your car and find out where its coming from. Youd be suprised, you probably have like 3 other leaks too. Go to VFAQ.com to find out how to test it.
